The Role
Reporting to the Restaurant Manager, the a Cook/Head Cook is required to lead the kitchen team and ensure the effective running of day to day kitchen operations and that recipes and procedures are being followed in detail.
Our open plan kitchens and fast paced taquerias mean we require a Cook/Head Cook with a dynamic personality and willingness to work in a highly demanding environment while maintaining quality, following OH&S procedures and providing the best customer dining experience.
To be successful in this role, you should have/be:
* Experience in leading a demanding kitchen environment is essential
* Qualifications such as Certificate III in Commercial Cookery will be highly regarded
* Leadership experience and outstanding communications skills
* Passion for food, quality and customer service
* Sound knowledge of OH&S
* Great time management skills
* Capacity for following procedures and guaranteeing consistency
