We are seeking a compassionate, motivated, and collaborative Endorsed Midwife to deliver our newly created Postpartum Health Check service. This is a 30-minute express appointment aimed at providing new mums with essential support and guidance. The role also includes flexibility to assist with other clinic-related duties as needed.The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to women’s health and a holistic approach to patient care, aligning with our values of kindness + respect, support for mama’s, health, and family above all else. You will have the opportunity to work virtually alongside our other dedicated practitioners as required. Your role will be instrumental in enabling our clinic to support women through the top challenges experienced in the early stages of motherhood, including breastfeeding support, postpartum depletion and recovery, perinatal mental health, birth trauma, and infant sleep.Key ResponsibilitiesPostpartum Health Checks:Conduct mental health screenings.Provide breastfeeding support and check-ins.Assess diet, lifestyle, and supplement use.Provide appropriate referrals (eg: pathology screening, certain medications/supplements).Offer recommendations for additional services within the clinic team.Client Support:Build rapport and provide empathetic, non-judgmental care.Conduct virtual consultations, follow-ups via phone, email, or SMS to provide ongoing support to patients.Create personalised care plans based on patient assessments, incorporating lactation, nutritional, and medical advice/referrals (where required).Additional Duties (if required):Support the creation of social media content to engage with our audience.Assist in other clinic-related tasks to support operations and outreach.Qualifications and SkillsCurrent registration as an Endorsed Midwife in Australia.Holistic Approach: Commitment to holistic and integrative care principles.Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex medical information in an understandable manner.Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using online platforms and technology to deliver virtual care.Collaboration Skills: Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.Ability to work independently and make thoughtful recommendations.Knowledge of diet and lifestyle factors influencing postpartum recovery.Why Join Mother’s Clinic?Work with a passionate, supportive team dedicated to improving the lives of mothers.Flexible, remote role allowing you to work from anywhere.Opportunity to contribute to meaningful change in perinatal care.Access to ongoing collaboration in a multi-disciplinary environment.Application ProcessIf you’re a midwife passionate about empowering mums and enhancing postpartum care, we’d love to hear from you!
