We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Housekeeper who is passionate about delivering outstanding customer service to join our team in Bowral.

ABOUT THE ROLE:
You will need to be someone who takes pride in delivering the best possible service to residents and believe in creating an environment in which our residents are comfortable and safe.
The Housekeeper is responsible for providing cleaning services that contribute to a safe, clean, home-like living environment for residents and staff. This role will also include learning laundry procedures and processes.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
* Provide cleaning services according to established cleaning schedules.
* Ensure appropriate mopping and vacuuming of floors, damp dusting, waste management, restocking of supplies.
* Maintain records of completion of laundry and cleaning schedule duties.
* Ensure safe storage and use of cleaning agents, including use of correct quantities for each task.
* Participate in established infection control program.
* Contribute to a safe environment when undertaking duties ensuring equipment is not obscuring exits and passageways.
* Report any hazardous / malfunctioning equipment immediately to management.
* Always consult residents about their preferences for care and service delivery, i.e., room cleaning preferences.
* Deliver service in line with privacy training and in keeping with the resident’s preferences.
* Treat all residents with dignity and respect.
* Interact with residents in a kind, caring & respectful manner.
ABOUT YOU:
You will have a passion for delivering outstanding customer service to our residents and meet the following criteria:
* Previous experience working as a Housekeeper / Cleaner.
* Previous experience working in an Aged Care/Health Setting (Desirable).
* The ability to work as a team player.
* Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
* An ability to follow procedures as directed.
