The senior campus located in Woy Woy on Darkinjung Land has an enrolment of 710 students, of which 16% are Aboriginal students. The Woy Woy Campus caters for students in Years 10-12 and provides flexible access to opportunities including in excess of 50 senior courses, Health Services training, sporting academies, multiple recording studios, and 10 vocational courses. We have six special education classes specializing in ED, intellectual disabilities, and multi-categorical classes. Ability to lead a faculty culture that values and promotes inclusion and equity for students with disabilities. Demonstrated ability to develop staff capacity to promote learning and wellbeing growth for students with disabilities through evidence-informed practices. Ability to foster positive relationships with students, their families, staff, and allied health professionals to collaborate on reasonable adjustments, including implement, monitor, and adjust, to maximize learning and wellbeing outcomes for students with disabilities. Deep knowledge and understanding of appropriate options for transition to and from our setting that is best for individual student growth in all areas of learning and wellbeing. General Selection Criteria Successful teaching experience with capacity to initiate improvement in teaching, learning, and classroom practice. Knowledge of curriculum, assessment, and student welfare with the ability to lead and design quality, inclusive teaching and learning programs. Educational leadership skills to build the capacity and manage the performance of individuals and teams. Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills with the capacity to build relationships and engage students, staff, and parents. Ability to plan and manage resources effectively and equitably to support teaching and learning. Knowledge of and commitment to the Department's Aboriginal education policy.
