About the Role
Our client, a well-established organisation in Queensland, is seeking a motivated and skilled full-time dentist to work across their two thriving clinics in town. You will be able to work across a 2-chair and a 3-chair practice, both equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, providing a dynamic and varied work environment. As one of only three practices in this thriving town, you can enjoy fully booked appointments with a loyal patient base, leading to excellent earning potential. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of experience in general dentistry, with proficiency in treatment such as periodontics and endodontics. You will handle a wide range of treatments, referring complex cases to the nearest cities of Townsville or Mackay. With a supportive work culture and a dedicated team, this role can offer opportunities to collaborate and grow professionally.
Key Duties
1. Provide general dentistry, including preventative care, restorative and cosmetic dentistry, dental surgery and extractions.
2. Provide guidance and advice on oral health and hygiene.
3. Develop treatment plans and educate patients on recommended procedures.
4. Collaborate effectively with the wider team to ensure the best patient care.
5. Uphold the clinic’s high standards of hygiene, professionalism and care.
6. Perform comprehensive dental exams and develop treatment plans.
7. Foster strong relationships with patients and team members.
8. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of dental best practices.
9. Provide a comprehensive range of dental services to patients of all ages.
Key Skills and Qualifications
1. Roles open to both Australian and/or New Zealand trained Dentists, as well as Dentists qualified and trained in the United Kingdom (subject to visas and clearances).
2. Must be eligible for Australian registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
3. Relevant qualification recognized by the Dental Board of Australia.
4. Strong experience in general dentistry.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Commitment to high standard of patient-centered care & strong clinical skills and standards.
7. Experienced dentist or new graduates.
8. Growth mindset, with a willingness to expand your skills and take on new challenges.
