This includes Jack Lonsdale Lodge, James Thomas Court, Eureka Village Hostel, Geoffrey Cutter Centre, WB Messer, PS Hobson, Hailey House, Talbot Place and Bill Crawford Lodge. As a Personal Care Worker, you will play a vital role in meeting the physical, emotional and social needs of our residents. Under the supervision of the Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse you will provide resident-focused, holistic care, adhering to the highest standards. With the support of our leadership team, you will contribute to the effective and efficient management of our Care Communities and continuously strive for personal and professional development. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to achieve positive health outcomes for residents. Provide high-standard direct resident care as outlined in care plans under the supervision of the Registered Nurse and Enrolled Nurse. Assist residents with safe medication administration as directed by a Registered Nurse. Deliver resident-focused meal and food services, following the food service schedules and Grampians Health Food Safety Plan. Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents, visitors and staff by completing assigned cleaning and laundry duties, such as vacuuming, mopping, dusting and resident laundering. Accurately document resident care in accordance with health service guidelines and promptly report any incidents in the VHIMS system. Skills and experience Certificate III in Individual Support, Certificate IV in Ageing Support or equivalent. Assist Clients with Medication (HLTHPS006), preferred. Follow Basic Food Safety Practices (HLTFSE001). Adaptability, initiating action, collaboration, managing work (including time management), work standards and stress tolerance. Demonstrated person-centred care and respectful approach to patients, visitors and staff.
