About the role We are currently seeking an OHW Site Engineer to join our ever-growing Rail Operations team based in Malaga, WA. Rail Operations is an internal business unit within Laing O'Rourke, specialising in the sole delivery of all aspects of Rail, working with a team of technical experts to deliver a high portfolio of track work across Western Australia. Key responsibilities Provide engineering support to Project Engineers and Site Supervision for construction activities. Assist in planning and document control requirements for assigned work packages to ensure construction activities are in accordance with quality and scope requirements. Support the procurement process for plant and material. This may include compiling documentation, writing scopes and responding to tender queries. Assist with Quality Assurance activities and ensure that the Quality Control processes are used (ITP's, ITR's etc). Support a culture and set of behaviours that support the Rethinking Safety through inclusion and well-being principles in HSE and Quality by setting clear standards and acting as a role model to others. Establish and maintain effective relationships with all key stakeholders relating to the area of work.
