The Role:
1. Support the management and delivery of legal services to the Department of Health (DoH). This includes managing the provision of specialist high level legislative review and legal support advisory services to the Minister for Health, Secretary, Deputy Secretaries, Executive, Strategic Executive and other senior managers in DoH regarding legal policy issues for the health system including statewide and national issues and developments.
2. Provide specialist contract and procurement coordination and insurable risk legal support services.
3. Manage legal issues in conjunction with key stakeholders, including governance and accountability obligations such as delegations and Right to Information requests.

Details of Appointment:
Permanent full time, day worker position working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.

Salary:
$131,464 to $140,317 per annum + 10.5% superannuation
5. Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022
