Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, leading a small team, you will be responsible for all the finance activities (& Technology) of the organisation, driving high performing operations and financial sustainability.The position works closely with the leadership team in oversight of the delivery and development of services, ensuring services and operational teams operate to budget, implements appropriate policies and procedures to meet organisational objectives and ensures required financial standards, legislative and compliance obligations are met.This role requires the highest levels of integrity and attention to detail, proactively supporting the operations to achieve the organisation’s goals. You will be a visible, energetic leader and collaborator seeking opportunities to improve and enhance our financial viability and capability.Key accountabilities of the role include:Developing and implementing financial strategies, including budgeting, forecasting, and analysisProviding detailed financial insights and reports to the Board, CEO and Senior Leadership TeamManaging cash flow and project fundingDevelop, implement and audit strategies and assess financial risks and opportunitiesEstablishing and maintaining robust financial controlsLeading and mentoring teams to ensure high performance and developmentDriving performance improvement initiatives to optimise costs and efficiencies in relation to our finances, systems and technologySupporting profitability through margin analysis and financial forecastingEnsuring effective management of payroll, accounts and IT/System functionsTo be successful you will have:CPA qualification with proven experience in a senior finance role (ideally in a non-for-profit environment)Strong financial acumen with expertise in financial planning, budgeting, and analysisIntellectual curiosity and analytical skills to understand the complexities of the business's operations and technical projectsExcellent stakeholder management abilities, with experience partnering with operational teams to drive business outcomesA proactive and strategic mindset, with the ability to identify opportunities for performance improvement and cost optimisationExperience working in an NDIA/NDIS setting (desirable)Our CultureAt Leisure Networks, our relentless focus on culture and purpose is what sets us apart.
