You’ll work closely with developers, architects, BAs, testers, and government stakeholders to ensure system designs are clearly documented, well-aligned, and optimised for integration, automation, and scale.Your work will directly contribute to the delivery of smarter, more secure digital services across cloud and hybrid infrastructure.Core ResponsibilitiesAnalysing complex systems and applications to understand business processes, data flows, and technical integrationsReading, reviewing, and interpreting code as part of systems understanding and validationProducing and maintaining high-quality technical documentation, including system design specs, data flow diagrams, and interface definitionsSupporting integration planning between cloud-based, on-premise, and mainframe environmentsWorking closely with architects to align systems with enterprise architecture standardsAssisting developers and testers with clarifying system requirements and component interactionsIdentifying potential areas for automation, microservices design, and modularisationEngaging with stakeholders to gather and confirm system-related requirementsSupporting alignment with ISM, PSPF, and ATO platform and security frameworksContributing to knowledge transfer, team onboarding, and documentation repositoriesWhat You’ll BringYou’re a natural systems thinker who can translate complex architectures and services into actionable documentation and support delivery teams with clarity and insight.Experience as a System Analyst, Technical Analyst, or similar role in enterprise environmentsProven experience with APIs, microservices architecture, and cloud-native systemsFamiliarity with system documentation standards and modelling tools (e.g. UML, BPMN, Lucidchart, or similar)Experience in Agile teams, collaborating with developers, testers, and product ownersExcellent technical writing and communication skillsBaseline security clearance (or ability to obtain)Security RequirementsThis role requires Baseline security clearance.
