We're looking for a Senior Planner to join our Delivery Project Services (DPS) team in Perth, Western Australia. This full time permanent staff role will be a secondment into the client office, responsible for the delivery of project planning and progress measurement with daily use of Primavera P6. As a key figure in this project, you will assure GHD procedures and best practices are applied where appropriate. Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in: Responsible to develop a realistic and achievable project plan and schedule to meet the project objectives in Primavera P6 Responsible for ensuring that all GHD standards procedures and systems for project planning and scheduling are followed by planning personnel Responsible for coordinating all aspects of the planning and scheduling functions across all work locations and ensuring the schedules are integrated into one integrated schedule Responsible for the overall progress measurement systems covering engineering, procurement, fabrication and construction progress and productivity reporting across all work locations Implements project planning procedures in accordance with GHD standards and prepares and maintains the timeline for the development and setup of the various schedules and progress measurement systems Influences improvements in GHD Planning and Scheduling procedures. Ensures plans and schedules are prepared and integrated according to project and GHD standards and contract requirements Ensures schedule assessment and analysis is performed and reported including the incorporation of project trends and changes Maintains the schedule Basis of Schedule Document to provide full visibility on the current schedule assumptions, risks, and opportunities Performing periodic project schedule risk analysis Consolidating progress reporting into the overall project progress measurement system Ensure consistent functionality of progress measurement systems. What you will bring to the team A minimum of 15 years relevant experience including involvement in at least one major project and exposure to all areas of Project Controls Confident and proficient ability to use Primavera P6 Planning software and other applicable tools University degree in Engineering or other relevant discipline is highly regarded Demonstrated leadership and communication skills at all levels including clients, corporate and project management, and staff.
