About Your Role
The role of an Oracle Functional Consultant (Fusion Cloud) involves:
1. Managing key Oracle ERP initiatives.
2. Supporting the Financial Control team.
3. Driving continuous improvements in the Oracle ecosystem.
This position requires a solid technical background in Oracle Cloud Financials, Oracle Project Management, and EPM Accounts Reconciliation and the ability to design, implement, and optimise system functionalities to meet new business needs. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams, 3rd party providers and SI partners to resolve system issues, and provide training and documentation to ensure effective system usage and control.
You can expect to -
Design and implement system enhancements :
4. Lead the design and implementation phases for new system initiatives and provide functional analysis and design to ensure new systems meet operational, control, and information requirements.
Configure and test Oracle Applications:
5. Implement, configure, and test Oracle Financials, Project Management, and EPM Accounts Reconciliation.
6. Identify and configure workflow and integration enhancements across the Oracle ERP environment.
Gather and analyse business requirements:
7. Collect business requirements through workshops, interactions, and discussions with implementation partners.
8. Perform gap analysis of current state versus future state and best practices.
9. Define and document business technical (functional/non-functional) solution requirements.
Support Financial Control Team:
10. Assist with resolving accounting data reconciliation and integration issues.
11. Support testing and Go-Live of new functionalities or integrations, including data migration and master data management.
Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams:
12. Coordinate system issues and enhancements across the Oracle environment.
13. Work closely with technical teams to resolve implementation issues and investigate root causes.
Training and Continuous Improvement :
14. Train and support team members in using new Oracle functionalities.
15. Lead the creation of process flows, templates, work instructions, and end-user training materials.
16. Develop systems documentation to maintain an effective control environment.
17. Identify potential system issues, risks, and benefits of existing and proposed solutions.
18. Evaluate business impacts and provide rmendations.
Ideally, you will have 5+ years of experience as an Oracle Financials Functional Consultant, with expertise in Oracle Cloud Financials, Oracle Project Management, and EPM Accounts Reconciliation, along with expertise in UAT planning and testing processes. You have excellent stakeholder management skills and can interact with and gainmitment from diverse stakeholders, including business stakeholders, technical/functional architects, developers, and internal management. You have excellentmunication skills, with well-developed influencing, coaching, and interpersonal abilities. In addition, demonstrate the ability to be adaptable in solving problems and making sound, well-informed rmendations and can proactively identify and implement process improvements across all finance processes, including general ledger, accounts payable, fixed asset, planning, and performance.
