About your role: Lead and manage a team of dental assistants according to HR principles Provide a high standard of clinical chair-side dental assisting to dental professionals and clients. Chair-side assistance can be about 60% of duties. Maintain, monitor and educate on contemporary infection control policy and practice and implement changes to policy as required. Educate and train dental assistants on the use, maintenance and cleaning of equipment and materials. Monitor and maintain adequate levels of materials and instruments within designated clinical areas, by restocking and ordering as necessary. Ensure a good knowledge of relevant equipment, instruments, materials, medicaments and procedures including safety procedures, Material Safety Data Sheets and Workplace Health and Safety regulations relating to the dental facility and its surrounds by reading relevant information/instruction sheets.
