Our Yatala location plays an essential role in our production quality and success, and we are looking for an experienced and passionate Quality Production Technician to join our team. Key Responsibilities: Conduct quality inspections and audits throughout various production phases, including Good Inwards inspections, to ensure quality and compliance at each stage. Identify, document, and report non-conformities, proposing corrective and preventive actions to maintain Siemens' quality standards. Verify that all processes meet ISO standards, regulatory requirements, and company protocols. Collaborate with the production team to identify and resolve quality issues promptly, ensuring continuous workflow and minimal disruption. Monitor and support continuous improvement processes to drive quality enhancements. Ensure all products meet technical requirements and customer specifications. Generate and maintain detailed inspection and audit reports to support transparency and traceability. Execute priority tasks based on urgency, as defined by the Quality Engineer. Assess production issues and allocate items to appropriate actions, such as scrapping or further analysis. Requirements: Technical background in quality control or a related field, with hands-on experience in the industrial sector preferred. Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications. Familiarity with ISO standards, 5 S, Lean Manufacturing, and other quality methodologies. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and handle both routine and urgent tasks. Strong analytical skills and keen attention to detail. Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Practical experience with measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers; CMM measurement skills are a plus. Familiarity with Share Point for document management. Preferred Qualifications and Experience: Previous experience in quality roles involving electromechanical products. Experience with internal quality audits. Proficiency in management systems such as Share Point and Excel. Experience with CMM measurement tools is a plus but not mandatory. Why Join Siemens?
