Full job description Seeking an experienced FIFO Maintenance Planner Your new company Our client is a mining contractor that specialises in geotechnical and construction services who have an ongoing joint venture in PNG. The project is 900 kms from PortMoresby, PNG and creates economic value for PNG and local communities includingdirect revenues from operations, investments in public infrastructure andservices, support of local suppliers and a range of indirect economic benefits. Your new role The Maintenance Planner will beresponsible for creating maintenance schedules and plans for equipment &coordinating with maintenance teams to ensure efficient allocation ofresources. The role will analyse performance data to implement preventive maintenancestrategies and contribute to improvement initiatives aimed at enhancingequipment reliability and maintenance. Skills & Experience: Develop comprehensive maintenance schedules and plans for mining equipment to ensure optimal usage and productivity. Collaborate with maintenance teams and production supervisors to prioritise tasks and allocate resources efficiently. Manage inventory levels of spare parts and consumables, coordinating procurement activities for timely availability. Analyse equipment performance data and maintenance records to implement preventive maintenance strategies. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and optimise maintenance processes Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with regulatory standards within the workshop environment. Development and update of maintenance reports Must have good knowledge and previous experience working with MEX. Adherence to MOSA JV and Newmont policies and procedures What you'll need to succeed To be successful you will have demonstratedexperience planning/scheduling within the mining sector and hold relevantqualifications, licences, certificates in the construction & miningindustry. It is highly desirable that you come from a mechanical background and have a comprehensive understanding of fixed plant infrastructure.
