About the Role
We are seeking applications from Endorsed Enrolled Nurses to join our casual bank to predominantly work across our nine residential aged care communities (Jack Lonsdale Lodge, James Thomas Court, Eureka Village Hostel, Geoffrey Cutter Centre, WB Messer, PS Hobson, Hailey House, Talbot Place and Bill Crawford Lodge) with some opportunities to work in Acute and Sub-Acute. Casual Bank allows you to enjoy flexibility to accept work around your current lifestyle and variety of areas where you could work.
As an Endorsed Enrolled Nurse at Grampians Health, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional care to our residents adhering to the highest standards.
Casual bank is managed by the Central Allocations Unit which operates 7 days a week. Grampians Health uses an electronic rostering system which matches staff for shifts based on their availabilities via text / phone call.

Casual bank shifts can be offered within short time frames, therefore to be considered for this role you must be living in the Ballarat region.
You will be required to provide 2 referees, one being your current direct manager and the second another manager / supervisor.
To maintain your position with the Central Allocations Unit, a commitment of 2 shifts per week is required.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintaining accurate availability in our electronic rostering system and accepting shifts based on availability
* Patient care for a diverse range of residents in varied care settings
* Participate in the provision of resident focused, holistic care
* Provide accurate and timely communication with the team regarding resident health status
* Documentation and updating of care plans
* Communication with residents, visitors and staff at all levels within Grampians Health
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve positive, resident focussed outcomes
* Participate in annual performance reviews
* Commitment to ongoing mandatory education
Skills & Experience
* Registration as an Endorsed Enrolled Nurse with AHPRA and hold a current Practicing Certificate
* Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willingness to obtain
* Current Working With Children Check, or willingness to obtain
* Demonstrated clinical knowledge and skills, commensurate with experience
