Our client is seeking an Accounting and Admin Assistant based in Rydalmere. You will be reporting to the Finance Manager and assisting in various accounting and administration duties.
Description
The key responsibilities will be:
Accounting:
1. Recording expenses, bank reconciliation and preparing monthly General Journal entries for closing/allocation/corrections
2. Accounts receivable - Investigating, following up and processing of outstanding claims, credit notes and overdue invoices
3. Preparing and processing weekly payment
4. All freight invoice check against sales and internal transfer
5. EOM Adjustment accrual, prepayment, customer deposit
6. Timely and accurate processing of invoices
7. Ensure supporting documents and approvals are obtained
8. Be the first point of contact for any client invoice queries and come to a resolution with the client
Sales Admin
9. Answering calls and emails to resolve any issues or provide customer service.
10. Processing sales orders
11. Ensuring that purchase orders/invoices are matched correctly by number and vendor
12. Resolving order and inventory problems by investigating data and history
13. Generating and preparing meeting reports and sales reports
14. Checking and issuing service invoice
General Affairs
15. Maintaining supplies by checking stock to determine inventory levels; anticipating requirements; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipts; stocking items; and delivering supplies to workstations.
16. Performing administrative and office support activities directed by management
17. Assisting the Administration Manager in providing advice and information to s on company policies and procedures
18. Maintain and update WHS policy.
19. Attend the WHS meeting and document the minutes.
20. IT support
Profile
In order to be considered for this role, you will have the following skills and strengths:
21. Similar experience in accounting and administration
22. Japanese language skills will be highly regarded
23. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to engage with multiple stakeholders is essential
24. High attention to detail
25. Ability to work within a team and flexibility to take on various duties.
