Salary: $36.43 - $41.02 per hour (Casual Rate); $29.15 - $32.81 (Hourly Rate for Part-time or Full-time) (NB. pending qualifications; age based salary rates apply if under 21)

As an Outside School Hours Care Assistant you will play a vital role in providing an engaging experience for children during before school, after school and vacation care periods. Your responsibilities may include:
* Assist with the delivery of quality education programs underpinned by My Time, Our Place Framework
* Provide direct supervision and support to all children to participate in the program
* Contribute to creating an inviting and safe environment which supports children in their wellbeing and learning.
* Ensure the cleanliness of the areas utilised by Outside School Hours Care students and staff are maintained.
* Develop awareness of and ensuring the health and safety of the students in your care, including appropriately supervising children at all times.

Mandatory Requirements:
* A current valid Blue Card under the Working with Children (Risk Management and Screening) Act 2000 (WWC Act) and valid Suitability Notice is a requirement of the position.
* A minimum Certificate III in Children's Services or equivalent (ACECQA approved qualifications) is preferred.
* First Aid Certificate, CPR, Anaphylaxis & Asthma Training (ACECQA approved) (Please note, if you do not have a First Aid Certificate, this will be arranged and funded for you on appointment).
* It is a requirement of the position that the successful applicants undertake a National Crime Check (Police Check) or provide details of a Police Check that is not more than six months old.
* Ability to perform the physical requirements of the role in a safe manner.
