We are seeking applications for a key leadership position, Regional Market Leader – South Australia. This role is focussed on growing GHD’s market presence in South Australia and achieving our strategic goals of exceptional client experience, trusted client relationships, sustainable growth and profitability. The role has dual reporting lines to the Regional General Manager - South Australia and the Australian Market Development Leader. Key elements of the role include: Business Development: Build a strong business development and winning work culture, with effective positioning and pursuit of strategic opportunities. This includes leading major pursuits across the pursuit lifecycle and building backlog. Promote GHD’s services across all sectors and industries. Build GHD’s profile and relationships with key decision makers in the external market. Business Planning & Strategy: Contribute to the business planning for the SA Region, leading the identification of market trends and implementing strategies that achieve Region Business Plans and Australian Market Strategy. Oversee the execution of market related activities. Client Focus Engage with significant clients to develop business and embed sustainable relationships. Review and diversify GHD’s service offerings to meet future client demands. Be a leader in Client Experience by influencing behaviours across the Key Clients Portfolio and Client Relationship Management Program. Leadership & Management Lead the SA Market Leader team (5) to support the vision and direction of growth and the winning of work. Contribute to talent and succession planning to ensure current and future capability to deliver on business and market activation plans. Undertake leadership roles on priority pursuits and key bids as Project Director. Actively contribute to the broader leadership of GHD as a member of the South Australian Management Group and Leadership Team. Bring a true Enterprise mindset in winning work and ensuring you build relationships across APAC Market and Client leaders to both support SA activities and contribute to global growth. Financial Management Contribute to the attainment of the Region’s financial targets by improving overall bid win rate, achieving revenue targets, increasing backlog and new work won. What you will bring to the team Appropriate qualifications and significant industry and professional services experience. Role is degree and discipline agnostic – it is about strategy, connections, knowledge of the markets we work within. Effective and proven BD and strategy, networking and client relationship management skills, backed by strong existing industry and client relationships across various market sectors within SA (ideally).
