This is a senior leadership role which represents the market to our clients, helps to grow the market and assists in co-ordinating the market within our business. As a Market Leader, you will enjoy client recognition as a leading practitioner, and this will assist you to promote the delivery capability and specialist expertise of the Practice Areas in your Market and thereby facilitate the winning of projects.
Day to day tasks would involve: Provide trusted advice and assurance in the delivery of our services and products to clients. Work closely with the Regional Director and other Market Leaders to grow the Market into a leading position both technically and commercially. Develop new business and deliver bids by identifying the strategic direction for the Market. Win and deliver projects across the business centre to effectively maintain relationships and understanding of our skills across the business. Drive to win and deliver landmark projects which will raise Stantec market brand. Apply strategic thinking, accounting for global trends within the market, and the impacts of other market trends. Develop effective regional delivery capability, which is sufficiently independent to provide the services that our clients need. Maintain and grow cross-border collaboration, especially with other Market and Practice areas through Knowledge Communities, making this visible to our local teams. To be successful for this role you'll need: Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or Transport planning. Minimum 18 years' experience including extensive experience in winning and delivering work for TMR. Strong commercial acumen to align performance with overall goals and achieve profitability in an efficient and cost-effective way. An ability to influence and negotiate through effective communication and interpersonal skills. Highly developed client relations and stakeholder management skills. Experience in negotiating with senior levels of government, and speaking to industry.
