There are two positions available, based on site at Mt Thorley. Key Responsibilities Provide mechanical services including but not limited to:Inspect products and materials for compliance and request required spare parts: Experience in reviewing products, components, or materials to ensure they meet specified standards or regulations.Operate workshop and relevant lifting equipment, including machine armatures and ream bushes: Experience in using equipment in the workshop, such as lifting devices (e.g., cranes or hoists), machine armatures (parts of machines that produce motion), and ream bushes (tools used for machining holes), to safely move and position heavy items and perform mechanical work.Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and manuals: The ability to understand and use technical documents such as engineering blueprints, product specifications, and operation manuals to guide the assembly, modification, or maintenance of equipment and systems.Repair and modify vehicle/plant electrical components, including wiring looms: Experience in fixing or altering the mechanical systems of vehicles or heavy machinery (plant equipment), including tasks such as repairing or replacing wiring looms (complex bundles of wires used for electrical circuits).Perform lubrication, running adjustments, and clean, lubricate, and paint repaired items: You have been involved in maintaining mechanical systems by lubricating moving parts to reduce wear, making adjustments for optimal performance, cleaning components, applying lubricants, and painting repaired items to prevent corrosion and ensure proper functioning.About YouYou will demonstrate the ability to:Working together: Works with others, also across divisions, towards a common goal, actively contributing to achieve the best solutions for Liebherr.Talking and listening to each other: Expresses themselves respectfully, appropriately, and understandably to the target group.Being open for change and development: Is open and flexible to changes, accepts them and actively shapes them or helps to shape them.Making competent decisions: Decides transparently, within a reasonable time and comprehensibly in their own area of responsibility and takes responsibility for the consequences of the decisions.Thinking and acting responsibly: Carries out activities in their own area of responsibility reliably and economically and actively advances them.
