Behaviour Support Practitioner
Reporting to the Director, the Behaviour Support Practitioner is accountable for the delivery of behavioural services and support to participants in accordance with our values and operating standards including:
* Respect for participant confidentiality, cultural beliefs, and privacy;
* Provision of high quality behavioural assessments, behaviour support plans, recommendations, and pathways to improve participant outcomes;
* Completion of progress reports and NDIS reports in a timely manner and in accordance with our standards;
* Build and maintain excellent rapport with participants and Support Coordinators to establish mutually beneficial relationships;
* Work collaboratively with team members including care, support and respect for all people.
The relevant qualifications, skills and experience required for this position are as follows:
* Relevant tertiary qualifications in allied health, social work, nursing, counselling, psychology, or similar areas of social and behavioural science;
* Knowledge of NDIS requirements and positive behaviour and multi-element behaviour support model.
