PCYC Queensland is currently recruiting for a motivated ESC Support Officer to provide exemplary service to our staff members and volunteers meeting the needs of the Emergency Services Cadets program. This position is based at our PCYC Bayside Youth Club, located in Lota.

Your New Role
The ESC Support Officer will play a pivotal role in supporting the Emergency Services Cadets team to provide exemplary service to our staff members and volunteers. Responsibilities include overseeing inboxes and referrals to Unit PC’s, coordinating volunteer uniforms and loan stock including creation and management of lending system, assisting with volunteer compliance, calendar maintenance, providing logistical support for events, and contributing to event marketing initiatives including social media correspondence.
About You
* Good communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to build relationships with stakeholders.
* Experience in group facilitation, community development, youth development or similar is desirable
* Able to demonstrate an understanding of the Emergency Services Sector
* Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
* Effective time management skills with a demonstrated ability to meet multiple deadlines and commitments
* Assist the ESC Coordiators and Manager with event planning such as requesting quotes, creating invitations, assisting with Team Even packs, travel arrangements, photo management of events
* Eligibility for a QLD Working with Children Check (Blue Card) and National Police Check
* Able to travel on a regular basis (including school holidays)
* Hold an unrestricted driver's license, eligible to obtain an RDA if required
