Manage the design and construction of long-term intelligent transport systems (ITS) projects in Victoria.About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Construction Manager to join our team to manage the design and construction of intelligent transport systems projects (ITS) across Victoria. You will have a home base of our site in Port Melbourne. This role is available now, but we are open to having this role start in the new year.As the ITS Construction Manager, you will be responsible for assisting in delivering construction projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. You will manage the entire construction lifecycle, from the initial planning and scoping stages through to delivery and handover.
Key ResponsibilitiesPlan, manage, and deliver ITS Construction to meet client requirements and contractual obligations.
Develop and maintain construction schedules, budgets, and risk registers, ensuring they are regularly reviewed and updated throughout the construction lifecycle.
Develop and manage multiple key stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and subcontractors, ensuring they are kept informed of progress and issues.
Develop and manage construction documentation, including construction plans, reports, and change management documentation.
Lead and manage construction resources, including construction staff, contractors, and subcontractors.
Monitor and report on construction progress, risks, and issues, ensuring that they are identified, tracked, and managed effectively.
About YouOur ideal candidate will have:Bachelor qualifications in Engineering, Construction Management or related field would be highly desirable.
Demonstrated experience in construction management including planning, scheduling, risk management, and resource management.
Exposure to ITS or the transport industry would be highly desirable but not essential.
Ability to effectively manage multiple stakeholder relationships.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate your team.
Australian driver's licence as a fully maintained vehicle will be provided for this role.
