The role is based onsite with free parking available and offers a unique chance to work closely with senior leadership in a visible and impactful role.Responsibilities & DutiesReporting directly to the Managing Director, this role will play a critical part in supporting the business through a transitional period.
Key responsibilities include: Assisting in the smooth transition of an exiting Finance Director;Leading the month-end close and reporting processes;Overseeing the preparation of financial statements and management reports;Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis;Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal controls;Liaising with external auditors and advisors as required;Managing a small finance team and providing day-to-day leadership;Contributing to process improvements and ad-hoc financial projects.Skills & ExperienceThe ideal candidate will be an experienced Finance Manager or Financial Controller who has held similar hands-on roles in dynamic environments.
You will be CA or CPA qualified (or equivalent), with a strong grasp of technical accounting standards and reporting requirements.You'll bring excellent interpersonal and communication skills, along with a proactive, hands-on approach and the ability to hit the ground running.
This role would be well suited to someone currently in between roles and looking for a short-term assignment to stay engaged and add value.
