Have you just qualified as an ECT and haven't secured a job for November?
Career Teachers are looking for ECTs, Newly Qualified Primary Teachers to join our supply bank and help support with both day-to-day and long-term supply roles.
Our rates start from £140 per day. We work with all the postcodes in the LS and WF areas.
We offer flexible working patterns to fit alongside a busy lifestyle.
If you are looking to gain more experience in a variety of schools in Leeds, supply work is a great way to experience lots of different schools and then secure a permanent role. This will build up your experience in different age groups.
As a Teacher on supply, you will be required to:
* Work with children between the ages of 5-11 in a classroom setting.
* Work full/part-time hours which can vary between 8 am - 5 pm.
* Give support to other personnel within the setting.
* Help implement daily routines.
* Be willing to support children who require 1:1 support.
* Provide support to pupils with special educational needs (SEN).
Essential Qualifications Required:
* 5 GCSEs at grades 9 to 4 (A to C), or equivalent, including English, Maths, and Science.
* An Undergraduate Education Degree or a degree in any subject and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) or Professional Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE - Scotland).
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* Previous in-school teaching experience.
* Fluent level of English, both spoken and written.
