Charles Darwin University (CDU) is seeking a new Chancellor to guide the University into a new era of innovation and opportunity.
The Chancellor will be a person with an outstanding track record of leadership, who can drive strategic initiatives, Council leadership and establish connections with the community, industry and government.
The Chancellor has multiple responsibilities including chairing the Council and other meetings, ensuring and promoting a culture and practice of good governance, establishing connections with key stakeholders, and officiating at Graduation Ceremonies and other significant public events.
The forthcoming period for CDU will be vitally important with the University developing a new strategic plan in 2025, enhancing the accessibility of teaching and training opportunities for Territorians, having a stronger emphasis on internationalisation, and its re-accreditation with TEQSA and ASQA.
The Chancellor will be committed to and reside in the Northern Territory.
