Due to growth and expansion, they are now seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join the finance team.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking to make a significant impact within a fast-paced, collaborative environment.About the Role:As the Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in managing and overseeing core accounting functions, with a focus on traditional accounting tasks such as journals, ledgers, and payroll.
Additionally, you will work closely with various business teams, providing valuable insights to help improve cost of goods sold, identify opportunities for cost reduction, and drive business improvements.Responsibilities: Core Accounting Functions (60%):Oversee the preparation and posting of traditional journals and ledgers.Manage payroll processing and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.Perform month-end and year-end close activities.Ensure accuracy and timeliness in the reporting of financial information.Business Partnership & Financial Analysis (40%):Partner with different teams to understand financial performance and provide guidance on cost control and reduction initiatives.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve the cost of goods sold and identify areas of efficiency improvements.Provide actionable insights and financial recommendations to help drive operational performance and profitability.Develop and present financial reports and dashboards to senior leadership and other stakeholders.Additional Skills:Design and build PowerBI dashboards to support decision-making across the business.Interpret financial data and present complex information in a clear and concise manner to non-financial stakeholders.Skills & Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA/CA qualification is preferred).Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with exposure to payroll and general ledger management.Experience in an FMCG or manufacturing environment is highly desirable.Strong business partnering skills with the ability to communicate financial information effectively to non-financial teams.Advanced Excel skills and a strong understanding of financial systems and reporting tools.Proficiency in PowerBI or similar data visualisation tools is highly preferred.Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to think strategically.Benefits:Competitive salary and a broad range of employee benefits. #J-18808-Ljbffr
