So, what will you do? You will assist on a range of projects for government and private sector clients which include some of Victoria's largest infrastructure projects.You will work as part of a fantastic & supportive team delivering projects from concept design to finished construction for contaminated land remedial earthworks, containment facilities for contaminated soil and solid waste, together with other waste management infrastructure.Our versatility as an organisation will allow you to have regular opportunities to work closely with all project teams within Senversa achieving a variety in project knowledge and skills. Attending both internal and external networking/professional development events. Providing assistance in preparation of detailed designs for containment facilities including associated civil components (earthworks, geosynthetic lining systems, drainage, etc.). Managing field staff conducting third-party quality inspection services during construction. Regular liaison and networking with clients, contractors, and sub-contractors. Preparation of factual and interpretive reports. Adopting digital skills in the assistance of the delivery of our projects. Contributing to the development of integrated solutions by collaborating with other technical practices – such as geotechnical engineering, geospatial, risk assessment, hydrogeology, environmental auditing, waste management, contaminated land, landfill gas, and field technical practices. Bringing an initiative to learn and develop in a multi-disciplinary environment. Highly desirable professional skills you will bring to the team Bachelor of Engineering in Civil or Environmental Engineering. Understanding of earthwork design and construction. Understanding of design and construction using a broad range of geosynthetic materials. Ability to apply a risk-based approach to problem-solving. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Lateral thinking, problem-solving, and strong collaboration and team working abilities. Passionate about civil/environmental engineering within the waste and contaminated land sector. Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with peers, direct reports, and clients. Familiarity with AutoCAD and 3-Dimensional modelling software. Previous experience in the ground engineering space is desirable. An interest in developing skills and expertise in various ground engineering disciplines including geosynthetics, earthen lining systems, and surface water management. CPEng / NER / RPEV status (or close to attaining) preferred.
