Council is seeking an experienced professional to coordinate the General operations, financial management, administration and customer service of AELEC whilst playing a pivotal role in delivering excellent events. The ideal candidate will have experience with grant applications, financial and budget management, project planning and management as well as the ability to manage and lead AELEC’s external communications channels.
The Venue Operations Manager is responsible for:
* Strategic planning for events and operations
* Coordinating and maintaining long-term effective stakeholder relationships including negotiations, engagement, sponsorship management and development
* Marketing and social media campaigns and sales
* General operations, financial management, administration and customer service
* Reporting, surveys and data analysis
TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED
* Degree or tertiary qualifications in Business, Event Management and/or Marketing Management or similar discipline OR equivalent relevant experience
* Current Driver Licence (Class C)
* Working With Children Check (WWCC) clearance
* Immunisations for Hepatitis, Tetanus, Q Fever (or willingness to undergo)

Salary range: Grade 17 $95,283.29 - $103,104.86 per annum plus 11.5% superannuation for a 38 hour work week. Salary may be negotiated based on skills, experience and your value to our organisation.
Flexible working arrangements will be considered by mutual agreement and according to operational requirements.
