St Louis Home Care is currently seeking Domestic & Community Care Workers. We are interested in candidates who hold a Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support, as well as those who are uncertified but enthusiastic about learning and gaining skills from our experienced team. We are looking for workers in the Victor Harbor, Normanville & Yankalilla areas.
About the Role:
This is an exciting casual role to service our clients with different needs and appropriate support in their daily living activities including all aspects of personal care, cooking, cleaning, laundry, and social activities with a focus on keeping clients as involved as possible whilst living in their own homes.
To be successful in this role you will have:
* Genuine care and respect for elderly clients
* Previous experience in similar roles (Cleaning, laundry, etc...)
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Essentials:
* A well-maintained Vehicle with insurance
* Current Driver License
* Covid-19 and 2024 Flu Vaccination.
* National Police Clearance (No more than 2 years old)
Qualifications / Experience:
* We welcome students who want to start working in the aged care field. (Cert III in Aged Care or Individual Support)
* We welcome students and people who have previously worked as: Carer, Community, Disability, Support, Aged Care, Social Support, Health, Nursing, Enrolled Nurses, or related fields.
* Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support is desirable but not required
