Senior Building Surveyor (Part-Time)Position SummaryWe are seeking qualified and experienced Building Surveyors to join our team on a temporary part-time basis for 2-3 days per week (14-21 hours) over a six-month period. This role involves conducting building inspections in accordance with Council policies and legislative frameworks related to Building Surveying, Building Certification, and Planning matters. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with a small team and contribute to maintaining high standards of compliance and service delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct building inspections for class 1 and 10 buildings in line with Council policies and legislative requirements.Ensure compliance with relevant standards and frameworks for Building Surveying, Certification, and Planning.Collaborate effectively within a small team and contribute to a productive work environment.Work autonomously when required, ensuring deadlines and objectives are met.Qualifications and SkillsTertiary qualifications in Environmental Health and Building, Building Surveying, or a related field.Accreditation with NSW Fair Trading as a Building Surveyor – restricted (class 1 and 10 buildings).Current Class C Driver's Licence.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Additional InformationContract Duration: Up to six months, part-time (2-3 days per week).Salary: Commensurate with skills and experience.Start Date: Immediate start preferred.How to ApplyIf you meet the above criteria and are ready to make an immediate impact, we encourage you to apply.
