Our client is a well-established Department within the ACT Government and is responsible for the provision and management of services throughout the state.
The Department is currently seeking enthusiastic and results driven Senior Client Engagement Officers to work within their diverse team based on-site in Belconnen on a contract initially for 6 months, with possible extension!
The Job
Reporting through to a Manager, you will be responsible for the following duties:
* Assessing complex client needs and determining eligibility for government services.
* Matching resources to needs, implementing and applying legislation, policies and business rules.
* Delivering front-line client services including assisting people accessing the shared intranet.
* Undertake record keeping activities with managing sensitive files and information in relevant records systems.
* Prepare, monitor and track documentation.
* Manage, analyse and interpret data and prepare accurate reports.
You
To be successful in this opportunity, you must have experience in the following areas & possess the below personal qualities:
* At least 3 years experience working within a senior capacity in the social services and/or government sector.
* Experience in delivery of high quality customer service in office and outreach environments.
* Experience in case management will be highly regarded.
* Relevant tertiary qualification in leadership, management, social work and community services or a related field are desirable.
