Scanning photos, including cleaning and basic assessment of their suitability. Manual separation of applications and attachments, and managing applications that could not be scanned. Destruction of records. Managing applications marked incorrectly (e.g., priority applications marked as routine). Performing manual exception tasks, such as re-scanning applications to improve quality, sorting mail for other teams, and filing. Undertaking basic administrative duties, including data verification, image enhancement, pre-print assurance, and quality authorisation. Key Requirements Australian Citizenship is required. Previous experience in a government department or similar business environment is advantageous. Competency with Windows and Microsoft Office is essential. Successful candidates will be required to undergo testing in the following skills: Problem Solving, Processing, Navigation, and Typing. Ability to perform various administrative and back-office support tasks with attention to detail. Additional Information The role is full-time (Monday to Friday) with a maximum of 38 hours per week. The initial contract will run until June 2025, with potential for extension. Applicants will also need to undergo a National Police Check initiated by the Department.
