The Team: The Pre-operative Assessment Unit is an integral part of Peri-Operative Services at the Launceston General Hospital. The clinic focuses on anaesthetic assessment of patients undergoing various types of surgery, including general, urology, orthopaedic, hepatobiliary, breast, gynae, plastics, vascular, and ENT surgery. The Role: Prepare and educate patients for their upcoming planned surgery at the LGH.Work in a small, dedicated team of nurses, anaesthetists, allied health, and administrative staff. You will need: Surgical nursing skills/experience is highly beneficial to succeeding in this role.Note: Please refer to the Statement of Duties for all the selection criteria of this position to address in your application. Details of appointment: Permanent part time, day worker position, working up to 11.4 hours per fortnight, from 11 May 2025.
