This company are seeking a passionate Chef De Partie to join an enthusiastic team of baking professionals with specialised Danish experience!
Responsibilities
* Assist in managing departmental costs
* Ensuring budget adherence
* Supporting product costing and profitability initiatives.
* Produce high-quality food products
* Mastery in Danish pastry production, including laminating Danish, croissants, and donuts, is essential.
* Maintain recipe accuracy
* Quality consistency
* Meet production schedules
* Provide direction to other chefs
* Allocate tasks
* Manage team productivity
* Train and supervise team members
* Fostering a positive and collaborative work environment
* Ensure all staff are trained in food safety
* HACCP standards, and safe equipment handling
* Actively promote safe work practices.
About You
* Minimum of 2-4 year's experience in Danish pastry production
* Advanced baking and pastry skills, particularly in lamination techniques.
* Strong leadership and organisational skills
* Able to train and guide team members effectively
* Comprehensive knowledge of ingredients, flavor combinations, and baking techniques.
* Creativity and innovation in product development,
* An understanding of OHS and food safety standards
