Operating from our Hobart Depot, you'll ensure the efficient operation of our fleet, optimise routes, and uphold safety standards while meeting customer service level requirementsTasks & Responsibilities: Scheduling day to day deliveries of bulk fuels from terminal to customer and company delivery sites utilising the available fleet based at the Hobart DepotEnsuring that Lowes fleet operates efficiently by minimising operating costs through effective load maximisation, route planning and driver schedulingEntering scheduled deliveries and delivery details promptly into the Lowes database in accordance with NHVR requirementsLiaising and communicating with company drivers, customers and transport sub-contractors on a daily basisSupporting depot operations including trip processing and dispatch activitiesRemote monitoring of fuel tank levels across sites throughout service areasMeeting and exceeding customer service level requirementsSchedule trucks servicing and maintenanceManaging driver rosters and timesheetsSupport of Depot OperationsSkills Required:Minimum 3 years scheduling experience considered an advantage but not essential as full on the job training will be providedA good understanding of Basic Fatigue Management (BFM) and and national heavy vehicles regulatory requirementsBFM Certificate preferred Ability to handle changing situations under pressure and make optimal logistic decisionsCritical thinking with a focus on problem solving and solution based outcomes Capable of working unsupervised and managing time effectivelyStrong transport & logistics backgroundOperational experience is an advantageAbility to navigate and use spreadsheets If you're ready to take the next step in your career with an industry leader, we want to hear from you.
