People Operations Advisor
Be the onsite point of contact for people operations. Support the people strategy and operations at this new hospital, through mobilisation to operation. THE POSITION
4. During mobilisation work closely with the project mobilisation team to support employee transition, recruitment, onboarding and training of employees, and support the setup of people-systems and processes.
5. Work closely with The New Footscray Hospital (NFH) People Operations Business Partner to support the people strategy & operations at the hospital.
6. Responsible for the administrative support required for the people operations function at the hospital.
7. Assist with performance management and investigations as required.
8. Troubleshoot HR related issues.
9. Work with wider recruitment team for site-specific talent attraction strategies.
10. Maintain a pool of casual staff and pipeline of new recruits.
11. Training administration and audit compliance.
12. Assist department managers to ensure training is completed.
13. Assist employees with HR-related queries.
14. Train, coach and mentor managers, supervisors, and employees.
15. Complete HR projects as directed.
16. Analyse employee data and develop reports for management.
17. Manage worker’s comp claims with Compass Group Aus. (CGA) WHS team.
18. Utilise and maximise Compass systems, including training managers to use them.
19. Support the broader People team as needed.
THE PERSON
20. 2-3 years admin experience.
21. HR experience and/or qualification well regarded.
22. Solid stakeholder engagement capabilities.
23. A strong communicator, able to interact at different levels across the organisation.
24. Ability to develop simple project plans and deliver against.
25. Embraces, promotes, and adapts well to change.
26. Ability to operate at pace in an entrepreneurial environment
27. Builds strong relationships with all stakeholders
28. Passion for customer service.
