Our Company is leading in food import and retail, specializing in Latin American food products. We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to support our operational, financial, and strategic projects by driving analytical insight and solution development. This role will enhance decision-making, optimize processes, and improve our supply chain and retail strategies.Key Responsibilities: Strategic Planning & Analysis: Conduct thorough market and industry analysis to support our import and retail strategies, providing data-driven insights to guide decisions.Process Optimization: Lead gap analyses to assess existing business processes across procurement, inventory, logistics, and customer service, identifying areas for improvement.Solution Development: Design and document business models to support scalable supply chain and retail solutions, enhancing logistics, demand forecasting, and inventory management.Stakeholder Communication: Work closely with internal teams, external suppliers, and retail partners to communicate business needs and ensure alignment with operational and strategic goals.Requirements Prioritization: Collaborate with department leads to define and prioritize business requirements, balancing needs across procurement, logistics, sales, and finance.Project Management: Oversee multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery on process improvements, new systems integrations, and reporting enhancements, all while managing competing deadlines.Data Analysis & Reporting: Synthesize complex business information and present findings to stakeholders, enabling informed decision-making regarding supply chain and retail operations.Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with various teams to innovate and troubleshoot, devising effective solutions to challenges in importing and retail.Leadership & Facilitation: Lead workshops with stakeholders to identify and document requirements, facilitating consensus and ensuring that all stakeholders' needs are met.Documentation & Compliance: Ensure all business practices are thoroughly documented, obtaining stakeholder agreement and maintaining compliance with industry and regulatory standards.Deliverables: Process Mapping: Create workflow diagrams, sequencing charts, and event mappings to improve inventory, logistics, and customer service processes.Requirements Documentation: Prepare detailed business requirements, functional and non-functional specifications, and defect resolution documents specific to food import and retail.Risk & Requirements Management Plans: Develop risk management strategies and requirements plans to mitigate supply chain disruptions and support compliance in import processes.Use Case Development: Formulate use case models to anticipate various scenarios in supply chain and inventory management.Qualifications and Skills: Proven Experience: Minimum of 5 years as a Business Analyst, ideally within the retail, food import, or logistics sectors.Analytical Expertise: Strong skills in data analysis, problem-solving, and strategic planning, with experience in supply chain and retail analytics preferred.Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders in both English and Spanish (Communication with Latin American Providers).Adaptability: Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, handling multiple projects and adapting to evolving priorities.If you're a strategic thinker with a passion for the food industry and ready to drive impactful changes, we encourage you to apply!
