Job Title: Student Retention Coordinator
The University of New England (UNE) is a regionally based, globally networked university renowned for the quality of its student experience and the excellence of its research specialisations.
This role involves overseeing a dedicated team responsible for reaching out to specific student groups, offering effective and efficient, targeted support for retention and well-being.
Responsibilities include:
* Coordinating staff in successful retention campaigns
* Implementing peer support strategies
* Ensuring support services are prepared to assist students identified through this process
You will be required to track the interventions and their success rates as part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will be charged with hiring peer support staff to work collaboratively with students within their studies.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* A relevant degree coupled with appropriate experience, or extensive experience and specialist expertise in student support services
* Strong data literacy, with the ability to identify, extract, and interpret data elements
* A solid understanding of data capture frameworks and project documentation
* Proven experience in leading a small team to deliver time-sensitive projects, with the ability to assess and report on team performance and efficiency
