Due to continued expansion, they are seeking an experienced Management Accountant to strengthen their finance team and ensure the integrity of financial reporting. About the Role: As a Management Accountant, you will work closely with the Financial Controller and Chief Financial Officer, playing a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting. Your responsibilities will include overseeing reconciliations, managing intercompany finances, and preparing critical monthly financial reports. This is an ideal opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in infrastructure or similar industries. Key Responsibilities: Perform and review balance sheet reconciliations for all group companies, adhering to month-end deadlines. Manage intercompany reconciliations, trade debtor, creditor, and GST reconciliations in line with the monthly schedule. Ensure timely preparation and analysis of asset utilisation and revenue reports, while handling associated journal entries. Assist with preparing monthly board reports, including profit and loss, balance sheet, and other financial statements, providing detailed commentary on performance. Support compliance tasks such as BAS lodgements and GST submissions. Collaborate with internal teams to handle cost recovery, asset billing processes, and budget reconciliations. Business partnering with senior leaders and operational stakeholders. Contribute to ongoing process improvements within the finance department, focusing on enhanced reporting systems and accuracy. Skills and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field. CA/CPA qualification (or working towards it). Strong experience in management/ financial accounting as well as Business Partnering. Advanced Excel skills.
