Join the team that transforms the sports landscape and creates a legacy of excitement, engagement, and inspiration.About the role:We are looking for an experienced Contract Manager to oversee and manage all lease, licence, and service agreements across SSCT precincts and venues.Working closely with the Executive team, senior leaders and key stakeholders, you'll lead the contract management process—from scoping and tendering to execution, monitoring, and renewal.
You'll also assist various SSCT teams with negotiations, supplier agreements, and procurement planning, ensuring all processes align with Victorian Government policies and regulations.As the Contract Manager your primary responsibilities will include:Managing contracts across SSCT venues, including goods, services, leases, and licencesMonitor contractor performance and compliance with service level agreementsOversee contract expirations, renewals, and facilitate renegotiationsConduct market reviews, benchmarking, for commercial negotiationsLead procurement processes and collaborate with subject matter experts on scoping, pricing, commercial requirements, and delivery timelinesDevelop and maintain a contract management framework, including policies, templates, and reporting systemsServe as the escalation point for contract-related issues and support resolution effortsMaintain accurate records of all contracts and communicationProvide regular updates to internal stakeholders on contract performanceRequired skills and Qualifications:Experience in contract management, ideally across both commercial and public sectorsStrong background in contract management frameworks, performance monitoring, and complianceExperience in procurement and tendering, including reviewing proposals and ensuring compliance with Victorian Government regulationsQualifications in law, business, procurement, or a related fieldExcellent negotiation, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skillsConfidence in advising on commercial, property, and contract management mattersA proactive, results-driven mindset with a passion for continuous improvementVictorian Working With Children's Check (Employee)Why is this a great place to work?You will love working at the State Sports Centres.
