Every day is different but each day you will have the opportunity to assist people to return to wellness, work and ultimately experience an improved quality of life.
You will:
* Engage in formal and experiential training to develop the skills you need to feel competent and confident in your role;
* Assess client needs, develop strategies and interventions for a safe return to pre-injury activities;
* Play an important role in a multidisciplinary approach to recovery and return to work, always with your client’s best interests at heart
* Perform assessments such as initial assessments, functional capacity assessments, early intervention, home, worksite and ergonomic assessments, as well as vocational assessments;
* Build rapport with key stakeholders throughout the process including the ill or injured individual, their treating health practitioners, employers and insurers.
New team members are matched up with a buddy and enjoy comprehensive induction and employee assistance programs combined by ongoing workplace mentoring.

Qualifications
Our new Graduates will have:
* Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy;
* Current (or working towards) registration with AHPRA;
* National Police Check (within the last 2 years) & a current Working With Children Check
* Strong communication skills to build and develop positive working relationships
* A passion for injury prevention, return to work, and the associated health benefits.
* A current NSW driver licence and access to their own vehicle with comprehensive insurance is a must.
