Your new role Reporting to the Recoveries Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the achievement and maintenance of a high standard of claims settlements, aiming for maximum revenue recovery and minimizing write-off values in an efficient manner. Additionally, you will be tasked with preparing witness statements and providing court testimony when necessary. This entails conducting thorough investigations, documenting and presenting pertinent information to insurance companies for resolution, or escalating claims through litigation if needed. Furthermore, there will be client interaction involved as you communicate the possibility of legal action and explain their roles and obligations. SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES Prepare witness statements Give evidence in court Liaise with our solicitors Liaising with clients prior to legal referral Managing your portfolio of claims through effective time management and customer service skills. Liaising and negotiating with third party insurance companies and negligent third parties. Reducing the number of outstanding recovery claims through effective negotiation with the relevant parties. Recovering monies from liable parties. Performing to set KPI’s in relation to the recovery of money. Minimising aged debt Working as part of a team, attending team meetings and contributing where appropriate. You will be nimble and love working within a constantly changing market that requires you to adapt quickly. You will also be proactive; always being aware of the bigger picture and anticipating situations and potential problems.
