Are you an experienced Accounts Receivable Officer looking for an exciting new challenge? Robert Half is partnering with a well-established company in the heart of the city to find a talented professional for a 9-month maternity leave cover.
This role is looking to start in the next week or so, and will have a handover, working in a team of 2 AR Officers. Please note you must be immediately available, or available on a few days notice.
The Role
In this role, you'll be essential to managing the company's receivables. We're seeking someone detail-oriented, with excellent communication skills, who can handle high-volume transactions with ease.
1. Invoice Management: Generate and issue invoices accurately and on time.
2. Payment Processing: Track and process incoming payments, ensuring all transactions are correctly recorded.
3. Reconciliation: Perform regular account reconciliations to maintain accuracy.
4. Customer Communication: Liaise with clients to resolve billing issues and follow up on overdue accounts.
5. Reporting: Prepare monthly accounts receivable reports and assist with month-end closing.
6. Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
Skills & Experience
7. Experience: Proven experience in accounts receivable, ideally in a professional services environment.
8. Technical Skills: Proficient with accounting software and MS Excel.
9. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
10. Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data.
11. Problem-Solving: Ability to resolve issues and disputes efficiently and professionally.
12. Time Management: Capable of managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
