APS 4 Recruitment Officer - Government Opportunity
Contract: 4-6 months (Labour Hire)
Location: Bruce, Canberra (WFH up to 2 days/week)
Hours: Full-time (37.5 hrs/week)
Start Date: 24th March 2024
End Date: 30th September 2025 (No extension)
Hourly Rate: TBC

About the Role:
This position supports a high-profile government recruitment team during a transitional period. As an APS 4 Recruitment Officer, you'll play a key role in refining recruitment processes, mentoring junior staff, and liaising with senior stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
* End-to-end recruitment coordination, with a focus on high-volume and complex roles
* Developing and improving recruitment processes, templates, and documentation
* Reviewing and updating internal recruitment policies and intranet pages
* Representing the team in strategic discussions with senior HR stakeholders
* Leading process improvements and identifying efficiencies in recruitment workflows
* Mentoring APS 3 staff to ensure team objectives are met
Ideal Candidate:
* Strong APS recruitment experience (essential)
* Expertise in HireRoad (eRecruitment) or similar systems (essential)
* Proven ability to manage complex recruitment independently
* Process improvement and strategic workforce planning experience
* Strong communication skills and ability to engage senior stakeholders
