The Role Reporting to the Director of Supply Chain, the Demand and Supply Planner will be responsible for demand and supply planning activities. This role requires an individual who is self-motivated, with the ability to take a proactive approach and effectively prioritise work to ensure that all activities are completed quickly and accurately. The employee will be analytical, detail oriented, not easily overwhelmed by a fast-paced, data driven environment and will approach each day with an enthusiastic sense of urgency. This exciting, hands-on role will suit someone who wants to contribute to the growth and ongoing success of this dynamic team What We Expect: Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models, and evaluate forecast results. Coordinate cross-functional research activities to understand demand forecast drivers and ensure that the correct input information is used. Drive fabric forecasting which will enable timely and efficient purchasing of materials. Develop relationship with sales, marketing, finance, manufacturing and supply chain to ensure effective knowledge sharing and optimal consensus on forecast. Address demand-related issues in a timely and effective manner. Develop global inventory strategies on existing items and new products and submit stocking policy recommendations to relevant stakeholders. Ensure production and inventory are aligned with demand forecasts and work closely with supply planners to align stock orders with local warehouse inventory requirements. Liaise with sales to ensure global inventory availability meets sales program requirements. Coordinate with design, sampling and purchasing departments to facilitate the transition of new products into production. Review factory capacity plan and recommend adjustments to stock order strategy according to capacity constraints. Monitor global inventory to identify inventory at risk and recommend action to take. What We Are Looking For: Demonstrated success in a similar role, with a minimum of 3 years' relevant experience. Bachelor’s degree in business studies or equivalent relevant experience may be considered. Desired professional qualifications/certifications: CDDP (Certified Demand Driven Planner), CFP (Certification of Financial Planning), CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional), CSOP (Certified Sales & Operations Planning). Excellent communication skills, both professional and friendly. Advanced, proven working knowledge in Excel (ideally Office 365). Be a team player, yet also be able to work autonomously.
