12 month assignment from commencementPaying up to $745.03 + super per dayParramatta, NSW Location with WFH flexibility providedAbout the RoleOur client is a very well established NSW Government statutory corporation who are responsible for supplying the state's bulk water needs, operating the state's river systems and dams, and the bulk water supply system for Greater Sydney. They are currently seeking a highly experienced Electrical Project Engineer to come in and assist them on a 12 month assignment with their team in Parramatta, NSW.Candidates for this position must have qualifications in Electrical Engineering with experience on High to medium voltage projects, coupled with strong experience in the Water or Civil construction industry. As an Electrical Project Engineer, you will provide electrical engineering and project management expertise to drive and deliver electrical safety improvement under a program of works ensuring optimal quality, cost, and schedule are maintained in accordance with project delivery frameworks while putting safety first.Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure project plan is developed, tracked and delivered in line with cost, time, quality and safety objectives.Ensure all activities are undertaken with the safety of staff as the number one priority and always role model safe behaviour.Work collaboratively with all key stakeholders to ensure technical specifications and scope of works for internal and external delivery partners are developed and communicated in a timely and efficient manner to identify and deliver the preferred engineering solutions which meet project needs.Apply quality assurance processes and develop tools and templates to ensure all outcomes of safety and condition audits, engineering studies and asset identification works are delivered and documented in a standardised manner.Ensure drawings, operating and maintenance manuals and other relevant artefacts are produced and/or updated in a timely manner and meet specifications or other requirements of the business.Ensure recommendations produced by consultants are reviewed and addressed in a timely manner with immediate prioritisation of safety risks.Work in collaboration with budget owners, subject matter experts and all internal and external stakeholders to ensure that all teams are working cohesively toward the achievement of set strategic objectives and timeframes.Please note you will work from our clients' Parramatta office with some site-based travel required. WFH Flexibility will be provided.About YouYou will be an experienced Electrical Project Engineer with proven experience and reliability in previous positions.
