The Role:
Tellers are the front-line in providing customer service excellence. This customer-facing role is responsible for:
* Conducting customer banking transactions,
* Selling appropriate products and services and
* Referring the customer to sales specialists where appropriate.
Teller Expectations:
* Provide great first impressions for the customers, including great personal presentation, greeting customers with a smile and a welcoming attitude, and fantastic communication, both face to face and over the phone.
* Interact with customers in a helpful manner and really connect with each person;
* Deliver on commitments promised to customers, including proactive follow-up of all inquiries; excellent written communication to all parties, and successful outcome for all concerned.
Skills and attributes you would obtain:
* Fantastic verbal and written communication skills.
* Polished presentation, with professional uniforms provided.
* Excellent planning and time management skills.
* Ability to exercise initiative, judgement, maturity and discretion.
* Great organisational skills, including the ability to work under pressure, set priorities and manage varying workloads effectively.

* Ability to use current technology to deliver services including word processing, database entry, and use of spreadsheets.
