This role would be a permanent 3 days (24 hours) a week, with Tuesday and Wednesday being required working days and your choice for the third working day. The official working hours are 8am to 4.30pm
about the job
In this role you will process end-to-end payroll for 109 employees on a fixed fortnightly basis. This include ensuring all payroll transactions, including new hires, terminations, and changes to employee information, are processed accurately and in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements (including ATO, superannuation, state-based payroll tax, worker injury insurance). In addition, you will maintain accurate and up-to-date employee payroll records and working collaboratively with HR and other departments to ensure employee data remains accurate. You will also generate reports and provide detailed information for audits and internal reviews.

This role reports to the Finance Manager, with a Senior Accountant being another team member.
skills & requirements for the job
To success in this role, you must have minimum 3 years’ experience with proven knowledge of payroll related legislation, payroll processes, tax regulations, and compliance. This role is well-suited for somebody with a high level of customer service, plus the ability to review existing processes to identify and implement process improvements.
